Tummo Yoga

Training for teachers

by Patrick Daubard

A demanding, human and personalised course based on experience, exchange and observation.
The most important thing will be the state of mind.
Nothing to do with a scheduled group course, this is a passage of knowledge and meaning based on experience, in an atmosphere of sharing and feeling.

Two possible formulas
Tummo Yoga and Tummo:

1 – Tummo Yoga

In this formula, Toumo will enter as a specificity. You will therefore already need to be a yoga teacher.
The diploma will be: Toumo Yoga Teacher (Institut Maurice Daubard).

2 – Tummo

For those who are not yoga teachers and do not wish to become one.
The diploma will be: EVCF* Instructor in Toumo (Maurice Daubard Institute).

* Voluntary and Controlled Exposure to Cold.

Note that the content will be the same for both formulas: breathing techniques, visualisations, philosophy, safety protocols, etc. The only thing that will change is the certificate, depending on each person’s situation.

TUTOR

Patrick Daubard

DURATION

MINIMUM 2 YEARS
The duration is not fixed in advance. It all depends on the availability and, above all, the development of the candidate. For someone who already has experience, who has a lot of time available and who will have the most favourable career prospects, the training could (possibly) be completed in 2 years. For others, it will obviously take longer.

Anyone claiming to be rushed into training has come to the wrong place! You need to be aware that this discipline is an extreme activity, which implies a great deal of responsibility on the part of the teacher. It is not practised indoors, but out in nature, in sometimes hostile conditions. Training like this must therefore be demanding, and cannot be carried out over just a few courses.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum age: 20; a letter of motivation must be sent.

FORMAT

Training takes place face-to-face and online.

This is personalised, one-to-one training, where the essential element is the human element, which translates, in the field, into the relationship between the trainer, the student and the group of trainees present during the courses, into an exchange, an alchemy at the service of personal and pedagogical development.

“Yoga is not just postures, it’s not just breathing, it’s also a way of life, a search for knowledge, it’s giving meaning to life, it’s smelling all the aromas, it’s grasping the poetry, it’s opening up to others and making yourself available, it’s quite simply living life to the full”
