The master and science
Maurice Daubard has always had a close relationship with medicine and science. Open-minded and curious, he regularly volunteered to take part in scientific research, serving as a subject of study on the effects of cold on the human body. For example, for the CNRS in the 1990s or for a Finnish scientific team in 2007.
OBJECTIVE
Contemporary research has explored how the human body responds to controlled exposure to cold.
Studies have observed adaptive physiological responses involving the autonomic nervous system, circulation, and metabolic regulation.
These findings contribute to a broader understanding of how the body naturally adapts to environmental variation.
The Institute is supported by a scientific advisory team composed of professionals in medicine and research.
This advisory group provides analytical insight and reflection but does not deliver medical opinions or prescribe treatments.
