QUOTES
” The donkey can teach us 3 things:
He carries his burden without protest.
He complains neither of heat nor cold.
He is always even-tempered. ”
” He who cannot see very far into the future is very close to his pain. ”
“Demand much of yourself and expect little of others, then you will be spared many troubles” (Confucius)
“Faith is blind or it is not faith, it is something else” (Sivadanda)
“Humanity needs love more than intelligence.
“We become what we dream of” (Maurice Daubard)
“Love finds without seeking what selfishness seeks without finding.
« Ne parle pas de l’océan à la grenouille car elle ne connaît que sa marre. » (Navatna Pariksha)
“Don’t tell the butterfly about winter, because it only knows summer” (Chang Tzu)
” How can you find sadness in an atmosphere where joy is shared like bread and where the success of one is a victory for all. ”
” Do not believe on the Faith of old manuscripts, do not believe a thing because your people believe it or because you have been made to believe it from childhood. Apply your reason to all things, and when you have analysed them, if you find that they are good for everyone, then believe in them, live them and help others to live them too” (Buddha).
“The way we act, the way we behave, the way we become. It has been said that man becomes what he desires. His will follows his desire, his deeds follow his will, he becomes conformed to his deeds. ”
“The word luck is often used by ignorant and jealous people to explain the success of others and to justify their own failures” (Maurice Daubard).
“I don’t have the right to decide whether to live or die, only the right to fight” (25-metre dive, Christmas 1970 – Maurice Daubard).
“I have no power over other people, I only show them the values they carry within them that they don’t see” (Maurice Daubard).
“External events depend much more on our own mental attitude than we imagine. Let’s learn to control our thoughts, and to the extent that we succeed, we will change the course of our lives” (Maurice Daubard).
“Not identifying with our moral and physical self-deprecations, while defining ourselves to become the opposite, is the way of SANKALPA” (Maurice Daubard)
“Change means getting rid of the self-deprecations we suffer by discovering the opposite values we ascribe to ourselves” (Maurice Daubard).
“Events are never absolute, but their outcome depends entirely on individuals. Misfortune is a springboard to happiness, a treasure and genius for the skilful man, an abyss for the weak. All depreciation should be considered a gift from heaven” (Maurice Daubard)
“I love him who dreams the impossible” (Goethe)
“Authority is a reassuring virtue” (Michel Hidalgo)
“If two paths present themselves to you, choose the most difficult” (Tibet)
