The Institute
Scientific Team
The master and science
Maurice Daubard has always had a close relationship with medicine and science. Open-minded and curious, he regularly volunteered to take part in scientific research, serving as a subject of study on the effects of cold on the human body. For example, for the CNRS in the 1990s or for a Finnish scientific team in 2007.
Mission of the MID scientific team
The MID relies on a multidisciplinary scientific team that contributes on several levels:
Technical support in physiology and psychology;
Scientific watch on publications related to the themes addressed by MDI;
Implementation of research protocols, at the initiative of the institute or in collaboration with other structures;
Data collection from course participants, within a respectful and ethical framework.
This approach enables the MDI to remain at the cutting edge of knowledge, with the desire to contribute to the scientific validation of the practices taught.
