OTHER INFORMATION

Your room will be automatically reserved on receipt of your registration form.
Your registration will be definitively confirmed on receipt of the deposit.

The ‘Notre Maison’ hotel is a very comfortable 3-star hotel. Your rooms will be made up every day. We live in a warm and friendly atmosphere. In a way, Katia, Jonny and their 4 children are welcoming us into their home, as they live there. Their sympathy and dedication to ensuring that we have an excellent stay is, for us, a very comforting contribution after being exposed to the cold outside.

Meals are vegetarian
Self-service buffet lunch and dinner of 12 all-you-can-eat salads and crudités + 2 (hot) courses of Italian cuisine served at the table

Also included in the package price:
– wines (at dinner from Monday to Friday)
– coffees and herbal teas at the end of meals

A list of personal equipment to take with you will be sent with the notice of receipt of your registration form.

If necessary, the hotel can provide you (free of charge) with rackets and sticks.

IMPORTANT: The course starts on Sunday evening at dinner – 7pm (but it’s advisable to arrive in the afternoon so you can settle in quietly) and finishes the following Saturday at breakfast.

Regular, voluntary, and progressive cold immersion, within a structured framework, allows you to explore the body’s natural adaptive capacities.

It promotes:

– improved body awareness
– increased vitality and presence
– mobilization of internal resources to cope with stress
– a sense of mental clarity
– development of emotional stability
– an increased ability to cope with uncomfortable situations
– a strengthened sense of confidence and commitment.

For over forty years, the Maurice Daubard Institute has been teaching this discipline of voluntary adaptation to the natural elements, combining meditation, breathing exercises, and progressive cold immersion. This practice is rooted in a tradition of inner exploration and developing the body’s and mind’s adaptive capacities. Structured with rigor and gradual progression, it offers a conscious experience of cold in a safe environment that respects each individual’s pace.

This discipline is neither a medical treatment nor a therapy. In case of illness or doubt, consulting your doctor is essential
